noun
1. the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.

When I first started blogging, my mind raced in a thousand different directions. The posts came easy and I looked for ideas in every aspect of my day-to-day. When I think of inspiration, my mind turns to family and friends who have a positive influence on my life, provide encouragement and support me though thick and thin. I can also spend ages in my favorite bookstores pouring over cookbooks, travel books, fashion, beauty, health and fitness. At my monthly hair appointment all of the latest fashion mags from the UK not readily available to me otherwise, provide a source of inspiration for my blog as well.

Creating an inspiration board with reminders of those things that inspire is a great way to encourage yourself on a daily basis. For me my board consists of some very personal things, a few magazine tear sheets (switched up once in awhile), inspirational quotes, and a post card from Anne Frank House that reminds me to be grateful for all I have in life. One photo in particular of a very special couple near and dear to my heart provides me with a major source if inspiration. Their daughter is currently on a journey of her own (please check out her blog here http://murphyslawfilm.net/).

What inspires you? Thank you so much for your comments!
